MY IDEAL JOB/COMMUNITY

My ideal job is a little bit dreamer, but I think if I do my best, I will achive it. My perfect job would be in África or some distant country working in an animal rehabilitation center, or, in a reserve with exotic and endangered animals. I would love that my work be as practical as possible, with a real and direct contact with  animals, because nothing it makes me more happy than be close to the most sensible an natural beings in this world. I would hopefully have an area to live and work together a community of people with my same interests and live in a self-sustaining way. So I wouldn't like to have a boss or hours to perform, just do it for love to what I do and when it be necessary.
But also,
I would like that my community be in charge of different projects and global campaigns of pro animals ideas to raise awareness people in that topic, because I think it might be beneficial for our career, that at this moment, is very devalued.

ANIMAL DIVERSITY

Well, my favorite subject is Animal Diversity, because is the only subject in which we talk about animals right now. The others subjects that we have are like school, mathemathics and chemistry, and the other subject, is based on talks from different veterinary but is neither seems to what we come to study.
In this class, we study all the class animals, until now, we have studied all the invertebrates and some vertebrates, like fish and amphibians. We have one zoology class at week and one day of lab. So we study the characteristics of each species and then, in lab, we have a quiz and then we confirm our knowledge opening an animal to recognize all the things we have learned.
I love the zoology class, beacuse I like so much know the animals inside and outside and also, there is nothing more fun that know their type of life, and how they do to survive.

MY FAVORITE VET

Well, actually I never had thought about a person of this career that I admire, but now that it is asks to me I remember a vet that I met at 3 years ago. His name is Claudio Soto, he is 39 years old, he studied veterinary medicine in Andrés Bello's University and he did a magister in wildlife health. Now he is a professor and the director of wildlife's department on Chinchimen, a community organization that it cares about the coastal animal conservation. Here, like a vet, he helps in the rehabilitation process of pingüins, otters and other coastal animals of maitencillo and others shores of the fifth region taking care about animal health. And, as a teacher he is responsible to teach team volunteers and provide them health animal education.
I like Claudio Soto because he started on our country, with our problems, only wanting to help sick and abused animals and now, they have a very nice onrganization which have grown through the years. We don't have to be so ambitius, we have to start at the beginning.

I WANT TO BE A VETERINARY

(MISS, I WROTE MORE THAN 140 WORDS, I HOPE YOU DON'T MIND)
Well, in this post I want to introduce a little bit more on the reason of my choice, why I chose this career. The truth is that I wanted to study veterinary medicine since I was 5 years old, but I've changed the reason through the years.
At the first, like you can imagine, my only reason was because I loved animals, specially dogs and cats. Then, when I grew up, from I was 10 to 13 years old, all I have watched on tv was animal planet, documentaries about animals and "la ley de la selva". At that time, my reason was more complete, I wanted to study veterinary because I loved animals and also because I enjoyed to know and learn about them. But, when I was like 15 years old, I could find the most important reason since today. I think the human breed feels superior than others animals without a compelling reason. I think that we don't know yet about how to use our rationality, I think that until now, we have done everything wrong, we have destroyed what's in our way. I would love to be more animal and let instinct guide us, think a little less and that we could feel our environment as one of us, without desire to dominate to take advantage of our false "power".  I feel that animals are the best creatures in the world, they have the same innocence of children, in my point of view they have an innate tenderness.
So, I could I'm studying veterinary medicine because apart from love I admire animals, so I want to give my best for the continued existence of that wonderful creatures. But, unfortunately, I have to tell you that I'm not satisfied with the career focus on this university, because for what I have listened and saw at the moment, the university was focused on animal production more than on the ecologic area of the veterinary medicne, which I'm interested.
