(MISS, I WROTE MORE THAN 140 WORDS, I HOPE YOU DON'T MIND)
Well, in this post I want to introduce a little bit more on the reason of my choice, why I chose this career. The truth is that I wanted to study veterinary medicine since I was 5 years old, but I've changed the reason through the years.
At the first, like you can imagine, my only reason was because I loved animals, specially dogs and cats. Then, when I grew up, from I was 10 to 13 years old, all I have watched on tv was animal planet, documentaries about animals and "la ley de la selva". At that time, my reason was more complete, I wanted to study veterinary because I loved animals and also because I enjoyed to know and learn about them. But, when I was like 15 years old, I could find the most important reason since today. I think the human breed feels superior than others animals without a compelling reason. I think that we don't know yet about how to use our rationality, I think that until now, we have done everything wrong, we have destroyed what's in our way. I would love to be more animal and let instinct guide us, think a little less and that we could feel our environment as one of us, without desire to dominate to take advantage of our false "power". I feel that animals are the best creatures in the world, they have the same innocence of children, in my point of view they have an innate tenderness.
So, I could I'm studying veterinary medicine because apart from love I admire animals, so I want to give my best for the continued existence of that wonderful creatures. But, unfortunately, I have to tell you that I'm not satisfied with the career focus on this university, because for what I have listened and saw at the moment, the university was focused on animal production more than on the ecologic area of the veterinary medicne, which I'm interested.
